For the upcoming week of February 3, 2003, the following construction activities will take place:

• Continue development of concrete wall along 12th Street
• Complete soil retention and excavation adjacent to current building.
• Removal of operatory mock-ups from B842. The Amcase mock-up, which was selected for the new clinics, will be moved to the D-Level, Group B area in the next week. The mock-up will be installed to permit continued development of the operatory, to include placement of accessories, sink and faucet selection, etc.
• I have requested more frequent changes to the filter material covering the air intakes along 12th. By the end of this week, heavy machinery use directly beneath the intakes will be completed, as the soil retention and excavation adjacent to the current building are completed. As our construction project progresses, NJDS and EOHSS will continue to monitor this situation and ensure that the entrance of odors into the building are kept to a minimum.
