For the upcoming
week of October 6, 2003, the following construction activities will
take place:
- East and
West Plaza concrete work
- Piping
level 'D', 'B' and 'A'
- Miscellaneous
duct work tie ins 'A' level
- Exterior
wall framing
- Wiring 'D'
and 'A' level
- Sprinkler
piping 'A' level
- Roofing
/ roof blocking
- East stair
installation
- Elevator
installation
- Framing
'B' level
- Exterior
caulking
- Windows
'D' Level
In addition,
the sidewalk between the NJDS and the DOC Parking Garage will be
closed to pedestrians due to construction activity related to the
NJDS Expansion Project beginning today.
The closed
portion will begin at 12th Avenue and terminate at the east exit
stair of the DOC Garage. DOC east exit stair will remain available
during construction. Signage routing pedestrians to UMD destinations
will be posted prior to the sidewalk closing.
