For the coming week of October 7, 2002, the following construction activities will take place:

Monday – Interior gut of C-level, demolition of portico concrete and removal of rubble.
Tuesday – Interior gut of C-level, demolition of portico concrete and removal of rubble.
Wednesday – Installation of shoring at corner, interior gut, demolition and removal of portico concrete.
Thursday – Saw cut at roof level, start demolition of overhang area. (Will include use of hammering devices)
Friday – Demolition of overhang area. (Will include use of hammering devices)
Saturday – Saw cut at C level, continued demolition of overhang.

TORCON will be using jackhammers on Thursday and Friday to remove the interior overhang area. Right now, the plan is to limit the use of this equipment to the hours of 7-10 am and after 4pm into the evening, to avoid disruption of the clinic and patient care activities. The actual saw cutting will occur on Saturday.

Other construction activities to occur this week include:

• Temporary electric work on site (trailer and west side of site)
• PSE&G Power Feed to Site (two week activity)
• Mass Excavation
• Flag pole removal / store (one was completed on Friday)
