For the upcoming week of December 2, 2002, excavation will continue. The pace of the excavation has slowed in the past week, due to conditions discovered adjacent to the existing building foundation. The construction manager has modified the excavation approach in this area in order to address the condition. Over the next week, this final area will be excavated.

During the next week, the excavated area will be prepared for the first delivery of concrete, which will be poured in the dug out areas for the addition footings. The concrete may arrive, at the earliest, by the end of this week.

Finally, feedback continues to be received regarding the operatory mock-ups. Please feel free to leave your comments on the pad located in the mock up area, or by e-mail. All comments are being collected and shared with the steering committee. Thanks to those who have already taken the time to give the committee their thoughts and opinions.
