Dr.
MiMi Vella earned a dental degree as a member of the Seton Hall College of
Medicine & Dentistry 
Class
of 1963. She completed a postgraduate program in Orthodontics from Fairleigh
Dickinson University School of Dentistry and maintained a private practice
limited to Orthodontics in Parsippany, NJ until her retirement. Dr. Vella
held appointments at Beth Israel and Mount Sinai Medical Centers and while
on staff, established an orthodontic outpatient at Governeur Hospital in New
York. She completed postgraduate training at New Jersey Dental School and
earned a certificate in the diagnosis and treatment of TMD and the management
of orofacial pain. She held an appointment as assistant clinical professor
at NJDS in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Division of Occlusion/TMJ
Science. Dr. Vella served as president of the alumni association from 2001-2003.
