/ Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Welcome
to the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery's website. Our
department's primary mission is to provide full-scope oral and maxillofacial
surgical care to the people of the State of New Jersey, and to provide
education for predoctoral and postdoctoral students at UMDNJ. Pursuant
to these goals, the department maintains a nationally recognized
oral and maxillofacial residency program, and is an integral part
of the Medical Center's level 1 trauma center. We have a large and
dynamic faculty, both full and part time, who in turn teach and
pursue scholarly activity to advance our specialty. The department
is also an integral part of the faculty practice of UMDNJ - New
Jersey Dental School. Thank you again for visiting our website.
