Department Activities
Dr. Sofia Petrov and Dr. Stanley Sun, postgraduate students in the department, jointly made a presentation entitled "Osteotomes--Vital to the Implant Armamentarium" in Northeast Implant Symposium at Newark, NJ, October 22-23, 2009. Dr. Howard Drew, Vice Chair of the Department, was the mentor. Dr. Dana Graves, professor and Chair of the department, was elected Vice President of the Gordon Research Conference of Periodontal Disease for 2011. Dr. Kuang-min Chang, Associate Professor, made a presentation "Management of Dental Cervical Defects which Involve both Soft and Hard Tissues" in the 29th Annual convention of National Taiwan University Medical College Alumni Association of North America at New York City on August 14, 2009. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/09/090928095219.htm
