Director, Dental Education in the Office of Continuing Dental Education
It is with great pleasure that I present Dr. Peter DeSciscio, Department of Restorative Dentistry, as the new Director, Dental Education in the Office of Continuing Dental Education. Dr. DeSciscio is replacing Dr. Jerry Engel, a well respected and beloved NJDS faculty member and administrator who retired last year. Dr. DeSciscio is an alumnus of NJDS and immediate past president of the Dental Alumni Association. He is very active in local, county and state dental association activities. Dr. DeSciscio joins the CDE office at a time of program expansion and renewed efforts in working with industry in providing the best CE to the private practice community. Dr. DeSciscio will lead these efforts, attracting new speakers to our program and forging relationships with the dental industry community in support of our program.
