FIRST ANNUAL ISDA DINNER

The Indian Student Dental Association celebrated the completion of the courses of study of senior dental students, postgraduates and GP residents at the Akbar restaurant in Edison on May 2, 2003. The event was organized and supported by Dr. Asha Samant founder and President of the Indian Dental Association of North America (IDANA) and faculty advisor of the Indian Student Dental Association (ISDA). Neil Agnihotri ('06), founder of the students' association, is serving as its first President. More than 100 people attended the event, including faculty dressed in authentic Indian garb as well as members of other dental student organizations. Dr. Joel Martin, Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, distributed tokens of remembrance to 12 graduating seniors, 3 postgraduate students and one General Practice Resident.
