The Center for Dental and Oral Health is located on the seventh floor of the Doctors Office Center in Newark. The Center offers a wide range of dental care in one location, making the practice unique. The dentists provide preventive, diagnostic and restorative care, along with esthetic (cosmetic) dentistry. Using a team approach all of the practitioners and specialists work together to provide coordinated, timely care. Specialists include oral and maxillofacial surgeons, who provide a full range of surgical procedures, including wisdom teeth extractions and dental implant placement; oral medicine practitioners, who diagnose and treat oral cancer and disorders that result from systemic diseases, aging, and medical therapies; orofacial pain practitioners, who diagnose and treat pain not related to dental problems, such as TMD and neurovascular disorders; orthodontists, who apply corrective appliances to bring teeth and jaws into proper alignment, in children and adults; periodontists, who diagnose and treat gum disease and place implants; and prosthodontists, who restore form and function of the mouth with natural looking replacements, such as dentures, crowns and bridges.
