INTRODUCTION
Do
you have an idea for a research project and need to identify an
appropriate funding source?
Or
perhaps you would like to explore what areas of research are currently
being supported by granting agencies.
Of
course, once you know what you want to do and where to apply for
funding, you will have to write and submit a grant proposal. This
website is intended to assist you with these procedures. The navigation
bar at the left will guide you through these steps in a logical
sequence.
Start
by searching for available grant programs. It is advisable to register
for an automatic (and free) grant notification service. Another
section offers suggestions on writing your proposal. You will also
find links to download application forms, and information on how
to prepare a budget and what approvals are required. A sample completed
proposal cover sheet is also provided. Finally, the procedure for
submitting your proposal is described.
Good
luck!! And remember, the Office of Research is always there to lend
a hand.
