OFFICE
OF ADMISSIONS AND STUDENT RECRUITMENT
Jeffrey Linfante,
D.M.D., Director
of Admissions and Student Recruitment
The
Office of Admissions and Student Recruitment serves several
important functions, including representing New Jersey Dental
School to prospective students, assisting students throughout
the application process, and encouraging students to consider
the profession of dentistry as a career. Admission to NJDS
is highly selective and competitive. Applicants are selected
for an interview on the basis of a number of criteria which
include academic excellence, leadership qualities, demonstrated
compassion for others and broad extracurricular experience.
The Admissions Committee also considers the candidate's motivation
and perseverance. Although NJDS does not require a minimum
GPA or minimum DAT score, competition tends to favor those
with stronger credentials.
